160 DENTURES TO BE GIVEN TO POOR PATIENTS FREE OF COST

JALANDHAR, November 16, 2019:   The District Dental Health Officer Dr Satinder Puar on Saturday inaugurated dental care fortnight in Shaheed Babu Labh Singh Civil Hospital.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Satinder Puar said that this is 32nd dental fortnight which would be culminated on November 30 and free camps would be organized in this civil hospital, Nakodar and Phillaur Sub-divisional Hospitals, Kartarpur, Bara Pind, Adampur and Shahkot Community Health Centres.

During the fortnight, the patients suffering from various dental ailments would be checked by the doctors and 160 free dentures would be disbursed in the camps, she said and added the team of dentists would also visit the schools for the dental examination of the children.

She also appealed to the people to visit the dentists every six months for the check-up and to get examined their teeth in the camps. The health department also organized an exhibition to create awareness among the people about dental care.
