Aryans College of Law organize  webinar on COVID-19

Mohali May 21, 2020: Aryans College of Law, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh organized a webinar on COVID-19-Fall out, Consequences and Enactments. Hon’ble  Justice Vijender Jain, Former Chief Justice, Punjab & Haryana High Court; Former Chairperson, Haryana State Human Rights Commission; Former Chairperson, Uttaranchal State Human Rights Commission was the keynote speaker while Advocate Gagan Pradeep Singh Bal was the conversationalist and Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group welcomed the guests. Hundreds of LL.B and B.A-LL.B students attended this webinar.

Justice Vijender Jain expressed serious concern about poor people due to the effects of this virus and also their conditions.

Justice Jain further discussed that Pandemic has changed the lifestyle of people all across the World. Relating to the fallout & consequence he further said that it’s a big Economic fall. Justice Jain laid stress on the revival of the economy and sustenance of the poor and needy especially the ones who work on a daily basis and earned a limited amount and too by working on a daily basis. The needs and requirements of the various strata of the society deserve to be met with by opening up though with precautions. Justice Jain expressed pleasure and satisfaction on the involvement of students in web courses and discussions.

While discussing the positive aspects, Justice Jain said though, with collective wisdom, the World will find a solution to this Pandemic which is the result of human blunders to Nature it has taught us that Mother Earth has given sufficient for our needs but not sufficient for our greed. While expressing his gratitude he thanked the corona warriors including Media, paramedical staff, nurses, doctors, etc who helped the Nation to fight with this virus. Justice Jain emphasized the need to orient towards the web and develop accordingly.
