Kont Palli (Mahendragarh), Haryana, November 17, 2019: During the third day of the 60th Annual Conference of Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI), participating life scientists from India and abroad discussed the sub-themes of vital human importance. Prof. Satish Kumar, Dean of Life Sciences briefed that the day-long discussions were largely centered around Phylogenomics, Microbial Diagnostics, Food Microbial Technology, Veterinary Microbiology, Microbial Diversity, Agricultural Microbial Technology, Environmental Microbial Technology, and Food and Dairy Microbial Technology.

The proceedings of the third day started with the Plenary Session on “PhylogenomicCharacterisation of Plant-associated Cronobacter”, followed by parallel sessions on various sub-themes of the conference. A poster session was also conducted on the themes—Agricultural Microbial Technology, Environmental Microbial Technology, and Food and Dairy Microbial Technology.

The day-long deliberations ended with the refreshing cultural evening where the students of the university gave the mesmerizing presentations. In his concluding remarks, Prof. R.C. Kuhad thanked the community of participating life scientists from India and abroad for their contribution in the success of the international conference.
