Chicken Centre booked for violation of Covid-19 norms

Ferozepur, July 31, 2020: The police have booked Chicken Centre owner for violation of Covid-19 norms and gathering of a crowd.

As per the information, the police was on its routine patrolling at Pilot Chowk in the cantonment area, when a tip-off was received that crowd is gathered at the Naresh Chicken Centre and no social distancing has been maintained besides non-wearing of face masks. On raiding the centre, there was a clear violation of Covid-19 norms especially when there is the surfacing of daily Corona positive cases in the district and on a single day 76 cases on Thursday and 44 today have been reported.  However, the owner of the Centre fled away from the scene on seeing the police team.

Keeping in view of the alarming situation and violating the Covid-19,  booked a case against Naresh Chicken Centre under Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 and start further proceedings in the case.
