Jalandhar, July 29, 2019: Keeping in mind the good health of the students, CT Public School and CT World School organised a free health check-up and dental camp at their respective premises.
At CT Public School, the students were informed about various do’s and don’ts for a good psychological and physical health. An experienced team of physicians namely Dr Deepa, Gynae; Dr. Harneet Sodhi, Dentist; Dr Aman Arora and Dr. Vijay Lakshmi, Eye Specialists; Dr Jashneev Kapoor, Orthopaedic Surgeon and Dr. Maan Orthopaedic Physician visited school campus and examined about 200 students, teachers and helping staff.
Principal Daljeet Rana expressed his immense gratitude and appreciated the remarkable efforts of the team of physicians by saying that the health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.
Whereas, at CT World School, a Dental check-up and awareness camp under the “Cavity-Free Child” movement was organized by Clove Dental. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental problems, ailments, especially on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent them. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which could probably cause tooth decay. The students got ample opportunities to interact with the dentist to enquire and gain knowledge concerning oral diseases.
The team included Dr. Gayatri Sharma along with support team staff members. They demonstrated how sticky foods damage the teeth and need to carry out regular dental Check-ups.
Principal Madhu Sharma thanked the dental professionals of Clove Dental for rendering moral and selfless service to the school and also encouraged students to be health conscious and to give the best of their energies in the right direction.
