Jalandhar, July 3, 2020: The Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Ghanshyam Thori today said that the district administration has pulled up its for socks for ensuring state of the art COVID management infrastructure in the district under the ‘Mission Fateh’ embarked by the state government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
Divulging the details, the Deputy Commissioner said that the work on upscaling the requisite infrastructure in the COVID Care Centres was already in motion. He said that the district administration has invited Online Bids for Supplying/ Providing Items and Services under Covid-19 Management in District Jalandhar. Thori said that sale of Bid Documents has started at 10:00 am on June 29 and last date & time for submission of Bids was up to July 9.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the Date & Time of Opening of Technical Bid was July 9 at 3 pm. He said that for other details interested people could log in into websitehttps://eproc.punjab.gov.in. Thori said that the basic aim was to ensure that these Centres were further equipped with state of the art treatment and diagnostic facilities to ensure that patients get the best medical facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that physical infrastructure in the COVID Care Centres would be upgraded on the modern lines to ensure that patients do not get any problems during their stay in the centre. He said that there was no dearth of funds for tackling this global pandemic and the major focus was only on saving the precious lives of people from the pandemic. Thori said that it was the moral duty of all of us to fight this war against COVID- 19 effectively with better coordination with all key departments in this war.
