Jalandhar, June 29,2020: In order to make the people aware of precautions to be followed to keep COVID- 19 pandemics at bay, the government polytechnic educational institutes today carried out mass awareness drive under ‘Mission Fateh’ launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
More than 50 teams of polytechnic colleges organized the drive in various localities of the city.
The team members educated people about the safety protocols to be kept in mind for preventing themselves from the Corona Virus pandemic. Apart from the distribution of pamphlets and badges, the staff also made the people aware of the significance of practicing the social distancing norms, wearing of masks, gloves and continuous washing of hands with soap and sanitizer under Mission Fateh’ campaign.
They also apprised the people about ‘Mission Fateh’, which was the brainchild of the Chief Minister and said that it would emerge as a symbol of the firm resolve of the people of Punjab to check the spread of novel coronavirus through discipline, cooperation and compassion.
The team members also emphasized that the Chief Minister has through this mission stressed on the need for adherence to all safety protocols, cooperation with the state government through compliance with the lockdown restrictions and compassion towards the poor.
They also disseminated the message that ‘Mission Fateh’ was a true reflection of the Punjabi spirit to overcome all odds for emerging victorious even in hostile circumstances.
