Haryana decides to give subsidy on Farm Equipment

Y.S.Rana:

Chandigarh–Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has
taken an important decision in the interest of farmers so that they can apply for availing the benefit of subsidy on the farm equipment in
view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Giving information about this, an official spokesman of the
the department said that without obtaining a permit, the farmers who have
not availed the subsidy on agriculture equipment for the past four
years and those who have registered tractors (only for tractor driven
agricultural equipment) can upload the purchased equipment bill,
e-bill, photo of agricultural machine and self-declaration (including
the signature of the dealer and farmer in the format available on the
portal) by June 15 on the departmental site, www.agriharyanacrm.com.
He further informed that the farmers applying in reserved
category will have to keep documents such as SC certificate, Aadhar
card copy, PAN card, online application receipt, self declaration,
bank copy and tractor registration copy, etc ready with them for
availing additional benefits under that category. When the physical
verification of the purchased equipment will be done by the
department, then these documents will have to be submitted. If any
deficiency or incorrect information is found in the documents, then
the concerned farmer will not be eligible for the subsidy.
The spokesman said that the farmers, who have applied online
from February 20 to February 29, 2020 to avail subsidy on agricultural
equipment on the portal of the department, their applications (except
laser land leveler’s application) have been accepted. He informed that
the farmers can contact the office of Deputy Director
Agriculture/Assistant Agriculture Engineer in their district for more
information.
