Journalists likely to get Sarvat Sehat Bima Yojna e-cards

Fatehgarh Sahib. December.10, 2019: The State Government has approved the cases of more than forty-three hundred accredited and yellow press card holder journalists’ to get the benefit of  Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana. The Director Public Relations in a communication to all District Public Relations Officers have stated that as earlier announced by the Chief Minister to give the benefits of Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana to journalists, the list of the Journalists, whose cases have been approved has been forwarded. The beneficiary journalists can generate their e-cards from the web-site of the department www.shapunjab.in or from the Common Service Centre of their area just by paying a fee of Rs.30/-.

It is worth mentioning that State Govt. has launched a health insurance scheme Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana for providing excellent health services free of cost for the residents of State, who can get treatment up to Rs.5 lakh free of cost in all the Government and 364 private hospitals impaneled by State Govt. The CM has extended this facility t journalists also.
