MORE THAN 14,000 STUDENTS ADDRESSED BY DC UNDER “ONE DAY ONE SCHOOL” CAMPAIGN IN 14 DAYS.WAR ON DRUGS: DC CALLS UPON STUDENTS TO KEEP AN EYE ON THEIR PARENTS

Ferozepur, July 18, 2019: As a part of the awareness campaign “a battle against drugs” started by Chander Gaind, Deputy Commissioner by daily visiting the schools and interacting with students in the morning assembly, today visited three schools today at Villages Bareke, Karian Pehlwan and Khai Pheme Ki.

It is pertinent to mention here that DC Chander Gaind had started the drive to sensitize children against drugs to make sure that there are no new entrants in this menace.

While interacting with the “young guns” in all the three schools DC Gaind said health should be the first priority of the children followed by education.

“If you are keeping good health, you can acquire the knowledge through education which will pay you to earn money to live a comfortable for the rest of your life”, said Gaind to the children.

He asked the students to share if the information if they find anyone taking or selling drugs in their family or in your area to initiate preventive measures at the appropriate level.

Deputy Commissioner also expressed concern over the downward graph of healthy environment and depletion of water table asked each student to not only plant one sapling by giving a suitable name but also see it grown up every day by taking care with giving water.
