Jalandhar, June 27, 2020: In another rare feat, the Passport Office, Jalandhar has bagged the best performance award (1″ Prize) among all the passport offices across the country for the fifth time in a row.
Divulging the details, the Regional Passport Officer Raj Kumar Bali said that like every year, ‘Passport Sewa Diwas’ was organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi on June 24. He said that owing to COVID- 19 pandemic, this year the Passport Sewa Diwas was organized through video conferencing. Bali said that the ‘Passport Sewa Diwas’ was marked every year and during organizing this event the performance of each passport office was evaluated on the basis of its working style and some other significant factors.
The Regional Passport Officer said that subsequently Passport Sewa prizes were announced to the best performing Passport Offices. He said that it was a matter of great pride and satisfaction for them that passport office, Jalandhar has been awarded the best performance award (1″ Prize) among all the passport offices across the country for the fifth time in a row. Conveying his heartiest congratulations and greetings to all his staff and the citizen of the jurisdiction of the passport office, Jalandhar, Mr. Bali said that this recognition has filled the Passport Office staff at Jalandhar with an even greater commitment to serve people with far more humility and dedication in future.
The Regional Passport Officer said that the Passport Office Jalandhar was overwhelmed with feelings of boundless humility at being chosen for this rare honor. Bali said that he owes this coveted award to all the staff members, who have worked zealously for the well being of the people. He vowed that the Passport Office would rededicate itself to the task of greater glory for the office and service of people.
