Patwari case: EX SSP Vig grilled for three hours  Ferozepur July 28, 2018 : Former SSP Shiv Kumar Sharma today appeared before the Special Investigation Team – SIT  Sadar Police Station, in the much-publicized Mohan Lal Patwari case, where he was questioned by the police, for more than two hours.


Earlier Shiv Kumar Sharma kept waiting with his counsel in the chamber of SPH and when none reached there, he was asked to appear before the SIT.  But he did not agree but later on he appeared before the SIT around 3 pm when he was questioned by the SIT members apart from SPH Amarjit Singh Sandhu.


The next date in the case has been fixed as August 3.


However, in the morning, the Patwar Union protested against him on reaching Shiv Kumar Sharma at police headquarters.


In the other hand, Shiv Kumar Sharma said, he is being implicated in a false case.  He said, when he was posted as SSP, number of corruption cases were registered against the nears and dears of Capt Amarinder Singh with the result the Congress government is being involved in false case.


Talking about the Patwari who has leveled charges against him, he had caught him red-handed taking bribe of Rs.4,000 and he had completed his tenure with honesty.
