Jalandhar, June 5, 2020: Exhorting the people to support Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh ‘Mission Fateh’ for well being of all, the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma today said that it would be the real tribute to Satguru Kabir ji, who had preached the message of oneness of mankind, love, peace and universal brotherhood.
Paying floral tributes to Satgruru Kabir ji during a state level function organised to mark the parkash utsav of great saint of ‘Bhakti Movement’, the Deputy Commissioner said that it was high time that all of us should perpetuate the message of universal peace and communal harmony as preached by Satguru Kabir ji across the globe. He said that the life, philosophy and teachings of this great spiritual guru would ever act as a beacon for guiding the destiny of humanity and redeem it from the pangs of agony. Greeting the people on this sacred occasion, Mr. Sharma called upon them to follow the teachings of Satguru Kabir ji, who preached the message of oneness of mankind, love, peace and universal brotherhood.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that ‘Bani’ of Satguru Kabir ji was ‘panacea of all the ills’ faced by the mankind in today’s era. He said that this bani inscribed in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji ever mollify one’s mind and body as it transcends the parochial barriers of caste, creed and religion. Sharma said that it consonance with this the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Sintgh has launched the ‘Mission Fateh’ to ensure well being of all by protecting them from Covid 19 adding that all of us must support this noble cause to save the state and ensure prosperity of its people.
The Deputy Commissioner said that it was the need of the hour to spread the message of universal brotherhood preached by Satguru Kabir ji. He said that Satguru Kabir ji waged a relentless battle against social maladies like casteism, untouchability and others, which weakened the basic fibre of the society. Mr. Sharma further said that Satguru Kabir ji’s bani was inspiring the people since ages to live with peace, communal harmony and brotherhood adding that Bhagat ji’s teachings have become more relevant in the present materialistic society.
On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioners Vishesh Sarangal and Mr. Jasbir Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrates Rahul Sindhu, Gautam Jain, Jai Inder Singh and Vineet Kumar, Assistant CommissionersVarjeet Walia and Harpreet Singh, Deputy Director Local Government Anupam Kaler and others were also present.
