LIFE AND PHILOSOPHY OF SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI COME ALIVE

Jalandhar, November 9,2019: – Hundreds of people from different age groups and all walks of life thronged Sutlej river banks in Ismailpur village, Lothian to witness the magnificent floating light and sound shows organized by the Punjab government to commemorate 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on Saturday night.

The site was completely jam-packed due to unprecedented rush of people to watch the mega event on the second day.

The audience were disseminated the message of strengthening the ethos of communal harmony, peace, brotherhood , compassion and humanity as preached by Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji through the ultra-modern technique. The audience bathed in Guru Sahib’s glory as of the light and sound show aptly showcased the life and philosophy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Meanwhile, Shahkot SDM. Mr Sanjiv Kumar Sharma along with other dignitaries attended the light and sound show to have once in a lifetime experience.

The 45- minute light and sound shows, organized with colourful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics mesmerized audience by showcasing life journey of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.  Through the shows, the ethos of tolerance, peace, communal harmony, women empowerment and protection of natural resources were brought alive. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s efforts to promote social equality were also aptly showcased to the audience in the right letter and spirit.

 Gurdeep Singh from Shahkot said that he has been watching the show today second-time as the shows on Friday night, had left an indelible imprint on his mind.

Surinder Singh from Lohian said that the light and sound show has beautifully exhibited Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s philosophy in the form of his universal message and appreciated the Punjab Government for organizing the show in this town.
